The transformation of pit boxes since the mid - nineties has been a phenomenon in itself. Back in'94, anyone walking into a Formula One garage would have just seen bare walls with maybe a few banners draped around the area. Nowadays it seems that no expense is spared in ensuring that the 'state of the art' garage is no less a reflection of a showroom or meticulous workshops. Gone are the days when a team used to turn up with a trailer, a car and a toolbox. Back then, anyone who had a 'pretty' garage was deemed to be a wealthy team and their approach was all rather arrogant and distasteful. How things have changed and teams these days cannot travel anywhere without a dynamic and impressive display. No longer is it a luxury but now very much part of what is expected for a race team to present to their fans.

The latest innovative idea from Showtrax International makes the conversion of your existing Showtrax walling to a seamless system extremely easy. A new lightweight plastic extrusion is now available to clip into your uprights. This is pre-velcroed and provides a flat joining surface of 45mm. At the same time, it stands in relief from the wall by 20mm.

Using either a lightweight panel of 2/3mm in thickness, a fabric panel or a new roll up solid panel, these are precut to the new sizes and then simply velcroed to the wall.

Using a fabric panel - especially for fly aways, the volume reduction and weight is very significant indeed and yet produces still a very good presentation. The panels work with the extreme flexibility of our walling and it becomes very inexpensive to make engineering bays, cupboards, different angled walls etc., all very seamless. Designs of the walling can take on new dimensions now without the interference of aluminium uprights.

The walling stays rigid and robust and no panels have to be put into the existing channels.
